Certainly not Equine, but interesting! On Aug 16, I went to the "Elephant Extravaganza" at Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, NY. There was a demonstration of elephant face painting. As much as I think a Zoo is a great learning place, I did come away a bit sad for the animals in captivity. However, The elephants seemed the most at home in captivity compared to the other animals at this zoo. I was impressed with how gentle and willing to please they were.
